2. Prayer Requests & Sensitive Information

When you submit a prayer request, we collect the title, description, category, urgency status, and connected account data.

• Anonymous Requests: Where anonymous posting is enabled, your public identity is hidden from other users. Technical identifiers remain internally accessible for moderation and security.
• Notice on Sensitive Data: Please avoid including highly sensitive personal details (such as full home addresses or private financial data) that are not necessary for your prayer request.

3. Comments, Prayer Responses & Community Activity

When interacting with the platform, we process:

• Comments and encouragement messages
• “I Prayed for This” counters and likes
• Answered-prayer status updates

4. Daily Verse, Devotional & Bible Features

We may record limited engagement information related to Daily Verse, Devotional Thought, Bible reading, likes, and other supported interactions.

5. Push Notifications

If permitted, we use notification services to deliver Daily Verses, prayer reminders, community updates, and announcements. Permissions can be toggled anytime in your device settings.

6. Information Collected Automatically

To ensure stability, security, and performance, our mobile application automatically processes minimal technical data, including:

• Device model and operating system version
• App version and crash diagnostics
• Push notification tokens and basic network/error logs

7. Website Data

Visiting our website generates standard web server logs captured by hosting providers, including browser type, IP address, referral URL, access timestamps, and necessary session cookies.

• Operate user accounts and authenticate access

9. Anonymous Prayer Requests

Posting anonymously hides your public profile from other users. It does not erase underlying backend records kept for moderation, abuse prevention, or security logging.

Data is shared only with trusted infrastructure partners required to run Prayer Connect (e.g., cloud storage, authentication, and push messaging providers). We may also disclose data if legally required by law enforcement or valid legal process.

Prayer Connect integrates key third-party architecture:

• Google Firebase: User authentication, database management, and crash analytics
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): Push notification delivery
• Web Hosting Providers: Web infrastructure for prayerconnect.in

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no internet-connected platform is 100% secure. Users are responsible for safeguarding their login details.

16. Children’s Privacy

Prayer Connect is intended for users who are legally permitted to use online services under applicable laws. We do not intentionally seek unnecessary personal information from children. Parents who suspect inadvertent data submission can contact us for prompt removal.

17. Public Content Warnings

Information shared on public prayer walls or comment sections can be read by others. Do NOT publicly post passwords, bank/financial details, government IDs, private medical records, or confidential information about third parties without consent.

Prayer Connect links to external services like WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and Google Play. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party platforms.

19. Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect app features or legal updates. Material changes will be published here with a revised “Effective Date.”
