Delete Your Account via the Android App
- Open the Prayer Connect app on your device.
- Navigate to Profile or Settings.
- Select Delete Account.
- Follow the on-screen confirmation steps to finalize your request.
Outcome: Once confirmed in-app, your account deletion request will be initiated immediately.
Unable to Access the App?
If you have uninstalled the application, lost access to your device, or cannot access the in-app deletion button, you can request account deletion via email.

Account Verification: To protect user security, please send your request from the email address registered to your Prayer Connect account. We may ask for limited confirmation details before executing the deletion to ensure the request belongs to the rightful owner.
What Happens to Your Data
When a deletion request is successfully processed, Prayer Connect purges or permanently anonymizes identifiable account data, including:
- Profile name/display name
- Registered email address
- Profile photos and social sign-in identifiers
- Prayer requests created by your account
- Comments, replies, and encouragement messages
- Interaction records (prayer counts, likes, etc.)
Where specific public community posts must remain for thread continuity, all personal identifiers will be permanently removed so the content can no longer be linked to you.
Information That May Be Retained
In limited circumstances, minimal residual technical records may be retained as permitted or required by law for:
- Security, fraud prevention, and system integrity
- Abuse or harassment investigation records
- Statutory legal or regulatory obligations
- Non-identifiable system server logs
Processing Time
Valid in-app deletion requests are initiated through the app and processed according to our account deletion workflow. Email requests requiring manual identity verification are typically processed as soon as reasonably possible. If we need to verify ownership, we will reach out to your registered email first.
Important Information to Keep in Mind
- Permanent Action: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed once completed. Deleted prayer logs or community interactions cannot be recovered.
- Uninstalling Does Not Delete: Simply deleting or uninstalling the app from your phone does not delete your account or data.
- Disabling Notifications: Turning off notifications does not delete your profile data.
- Action Required: You must complete the in-app deletion workflow or submit an email request to purge your account data.
